We’d prefer that you please read through all this information before calling. We've worked hard to anticipate, answer and make available to you all the questions and answers we think you may have. If after thoroughly reviewing this FAQ and all materials and links provided for you, and you honestly can't find the answers you're looking for, then by all means send us an email. We will do our very best to respond as quickly as possible.

Is there a French Version of the brochure?

Yes! The French version of our brochure is now available. While there are 4 versions of our English brochures, currently the French Version is offered in only one format. The French brochure is exactly the same as the English version, but is translated into French. It has a fully customizable inside center panel, where you can add your biography and your photo if you so choose.

And like our other brochures, it is available for download in our Download Center and in the Practitioner Print Center, where it can be fully customized and sent to print online.

Why can't I just create my own materials? Why do I have to use these? (back to top)

Four important reasons:

1) PROTECTION The Reconnection® logo and the actual words "The Reconnection®" and "Reconnective Healing®" are copyrighted and trademarked by The Reconnection, LLC. This means that if you use them without permission, you are violating trademark and copyright laws. This protects all of us. The only way to protect the integrity of The Reconnection® and its Practitioners is to enforce this.

2) CONSISTENCY The second reason is synergy and consistency. It's the same with The Reconnection. We are creating a Community wherein wherever you find it, it is the same wonderful thing you have come to respect, expect and recognize. This all starts with the first impression that is presented in marketing materials.

3) BREAK THROUGH THE CLUTTER
Our customized materials create a cohesive Community and bring us all together as a group. It also allows your potential clients to recognize you as a legitimate member of the Community; if you use different materials, copy or graphics than the rest of us, clients may wonder if you are really a Reconnective Healing Practitioner™. Your message will help you stand out from the rest.

4) SAVES TIME AND ENERGY Instead of each Practitioner spending hours of their time and energy reinventing the "wheel," the materials are now ready and waiting for everyone to use. You’ll have more time to spend on building your practice.

We heard you! You wanted an easier, more affordable and faster way to customize your marketing materials, so we developed a special online customization and printing process with PsPrint to make the marketing materials process easier, faster and more cost effective. Now you can enjoy the ability to easily customize and print your marketing materials all in one place without having to have any special technical knowledge. And best of all, all your printing with PsPrint includes the cost of customization!

Of course, if you'd like someone to customize for you (additional cost), the option's still there.

If I don't want to use the online customization system through PsPrint, where can I download the Business Kit files so I can customize and print the materials myself? (back to top)

First, place your Business Kit order through the Reconnection Store. After completing your order, email our office with your order number and request the web site address for the Marketing Materials Download Center. From this web page you can download the business card and brochure templates. Access to the Marketing Materials Download Center is restricted and available only to those who have purchased a Business Kit.

Please Note: We cannot provide technical support or assistance to those who choose to customize themselves. Please thoroughly review "Step Two: How To Customize / Print Brochures & Business Cards" in the Marketing Materials Guide before deciding whether or not self-customization is right for you.

Are there any restrictions on what I can or can't include in the ads, business cards and brochures? (back to top)

Yes. Here are the guidelines:

Business Cards: You may include your name, mailing and/or physical address, phone and fax numbers and your email address

Brochures: You may include your name, mailing and/or physical address, phone and fax numbers and your email address. You will also want to include a brief bio about yourself. While you may state that you are trained in other healing modalities, you may not state that you are offering them as services anywhere within the brochure. This is a Reconnection Brochure, intended to market, inform and explain The Reconnection™ - not other modalities. Please keep in mind that the bio's purpose is to tell people about you only as it relates to your practice of Reconnective Services™.

Ads: You may include your name and phone number.

All Materials: You may include "Dr." in front of your name or educational degree letters following, if you would like. The only letters, degrees or words to follow your name are educational/professional (DC, MD, DO, RN, DDS, DMV, MBA, PHD, etc.) This does not include identifiers from weekend or other seminars nor from other energy healing techniques. You may also include family position identifiers (JR, SR, II, III, etc.). In your brief bio, you may also mention that you are a banker or doctor by trade if you so choose, just please do so in a way that does not imply that because you're a banker, your healing is "better."

Why do you need a Terms of Use/Service? (back to top)

This type of agreement is standard when selling any proprietary information and/or things which are copyrighted and trademarked. The Agreement helps to ensure everyone fully understands the permitted usage of the materials, and helps to prevent abuse and misuse - either unintentionally or intentionally.

The wonderful message and power of The Reconnection™ is built on individuals doing the work. The foundation of this work is based on integrity, which applies to all services and tools you receive related to practicing Reconnective Healing®.

If you share the Kits, the Kit or Ad Files or the templates contained within them with others (or if you share your internet access to them with others), you will be stealing. We would never expect this from our Practitioners but we need to mention it to protect you from those who may consider it.

I'm in business and/or share an office with one or more Practitioners. Can we buy just one kit and share it? (back to top)

We welcome and celebrate those Practitioners who work together, and we’ve created special programs and have special guidelines prepared for groups.

If you are involved in a legitimate business with other Practitioners (meaning you don't just share an office or the same address) and would like to purchase a Kit as a business, and for use by your shared business, you need to get in touch with us to request special package pricing. To qualify for a multi-use License and a special package, your business will need to provide Proof of Business Establishment by providing the following:

Your business' EIN and/or a copy of your business' incorporation documents
The names of everyone who will use the Kit or have the benefit of it
How many years you've been in business together

If you do not have all of the above criteria met, please proceed to purchasing a Kit online - one for each Practitioner who will use the materials. A multi-use License or Kit cannot be purchased through the web site.

To Make This Request: Fax all requested materials, along with a contact name and contact information to our office at 323.960.0011. We will review your request and let you know if your business qualifies. If it does, we will provide details of a group package and special pricing.

We are committed to continuously improving and developing business support materials. The Print Ad and Business Kits and the Marketing Materials contained within them are the current versions available. We are continually developing new materials and new versions of current materials. In the meantime, take advantage of the materials that are ready for you to use.

Is there any limit on the number of business cards or brochures I can print? Can I place as many ads as I want? (back to top)

There's no limit! Print as many as you like, and place as many ads as you like.

With our printing partner, PsPrint, we've developed an online customization and printing process wherein you can customize your brochure and business cards directly online and then send to print all in one place, whenever you like. With special pricing and high quality materials, we think you'll find this system can't be beat.

Is the cost of actually printing my Kit Materials included in the price of my Kit? (back to top)

No. Since Practitioners choose to print their materials in different quantities, may choose to print the materials themselves or even use a printer other than PsPrint (although we don't know why they would!), the actual cost of printing your Kit Materials is not included in the price of your Kit.

After placing my Print Advertising Kit order, how long do I have to download my Kit Files?

You must download your materials within 30 days of placing your order. After 30 days, your download will expire. The download expiration is a security feature of our system and helps protect our materials. If you allow your download to expire, contact Store@TheReconnection.com to arrange for an alternative delivery method for your Kit files. Please note that this will incur an additional charge (redelivery via email $15 / via CD $30), so please do try to download your Kit files within the 14 days following your purchase.

I don't know how to download or am experiencing downloading problems. What do I do? (back to top)

We’ve prepared a helpful and thorough Downloading Guide. If for some reason this does not assist you, please go to the nearest Kinkos and download from there. Simply print out or write down on a piece of paper the download web site address, username and password and take it with you to Kinkos.

You must download your materials within 14 days of placing your order. After 14 days, your download will expire. If you allow your download to expire, contact Store@TheReconnection.com to arrange for an alternative delivery method for your Kit files. Please note that this will incur an additional charge (redelivery via email $15 / via CD $30), so do try to download your Kit files within the 14 days following your purchase.

Please choose from one of the following options if you don't feel comfortable customizing your Ad Files.

Kinkos: If you don't have a graphics program that will accept JPEG (aka: jpg) files, simply go to your nearest Kinkos. They have the programs, printers and experienced staff to assist you in this quick customization process. We recommend that you download, customize and print all in one step while there. It's also a great place to learn!

Do you provide the software necessary for me to customize my Print Advertising Kit Files? (back to top)

No. Your Ad File will contain your three ads, formatted as JPEG files, completed ad file examples (aka: "Look" Files), and a detailed "How To Customize" instruction file. The JPEG versions of the ads are accepted by most graphic programs.

Please Note: We are not able to provide technical support for customizing your ads. If you are uncomfortable performing the customization yourself, please see the following two options.

Kinkos: If you don't have a graphic program that will accept LPEG files, simply go to your nearest Kinkos. They have the programs, printers and experienced staff to assist you in this quick customization process. We recommend that you download, customize and print all in one step while there. It's also a great place to learn!

Are Marketing Kits (or Directory Listings) returnable or refundable? (back to top)

No. Kits and Listings are "electronic" products. When you place your Kit order, you are given access to the Kit Materials and there is no way to "return" or refund that access. When you place your Listing order, it sets in motion administrative listing work performed on your behalf based on your good-faith order, which also cannot be "returned" or refunded. So please make sure that you really want the Kit or Listing you are ordering, as the Kits and Listings are not returnable or refundable for any reason.

Before contacting with us, we request that you please take the time to first review all the available Help Materials we've provided. Chances are that your question is already answered (in fact, most of the questions we get are already answered in one of our FAQs or Guides). By first reviewing these materials, you'll likely get your answer right away!
